NYX Cosmetics Strobe of Genius Illuminating Palette | Swatches

Good afternoon everyone!

How's everyone's weekend been?

Today's post is going to be about this highlighting product by NYX Cosmetics, which I didn't even know about until I saw it in store.

I'm so excited that NYX has finally launched in store at my local Boots on Friday, 24th of June. I felt obligated to have a look and bought some goodies. This is one of the items I bought.

The lady that served me at the till said that this product is really good and that many bloggers have been raving about it. I personally have not even heard about this one! But that all made me think I made a good purchase.

The packaging is very light weight and sleek, but I have a feeling that if you were to drop this on the floor, it will definitely break. So my gut instinct tells me that this is not very sturdy. However, it's the quality of the actual product that counts!

As you can see, the pigmentation is really good. I would say that the first gold shade does not come off as pigmented like the rest of them. But all the other shades have pretty decent pigmentation. So, my overall impression is pretty good. I used one of the shades yesterday and it came out really good one my skin and blends well. I will use it a few more times and also try out the other colours.

The price of this palette is £15.00. I would say that for 7 different highlighters in one palette, this is worth the money. Even if some of the shades you would not necessarily use for highlight, you can use it for eyeshadow instead. Dual purpose!

I will probably buy a lot more NYX products in the near future because it's now so easy to access in my local Boots, which is bad for my bank balance. But I think I'm satisfied for now!

Have you tried this illuminating palette yet?

What are your favourite NYX Cosmetics products?

Hope you all have a good week ahead! :)
