My IMATS 2014 Haul and Experience! :)

Hey everybody!!!

Back again with a new post, I really should post more regularly. Better late than never is what I always say!

Anyways, I wanted to do a special blog post about IMATS 2014. I went with my cousin to IMATS this past weekend. 

I won tickets on a Facebook giveaway in September last year and got two tickets for the whole weekend. But we only went on the Saturday because we were spending way too much money! lol.

For those of you who don't know what IMATS is, it stands for International Makeup Artist Trade Show. It is a big place where all makeup exhibitors and makeup brands get together and display their products and display their skills. There were a bunch of makeup brands selling their products including, MAC, Nars, NYX Cosmetics, Makeup Forever, Sugarpill Cosmetics, Artist of Makeup Cosmetics (the makeup line from Zukreat), Bobbi Brown and many more!

It was so cool to be there! Me and my cousin couldn't help swatching the different coloured eyeshadows and impulse buying on a couple of things which you will see here in this blog post shortly.

This event happens once a year in London, New York, Vancouver, Sydney and Toronto. It's quiet a big event so it felt like an honour to be able to attend an event like that. It was not as packed as I expected, but it still felt great to be there among all the makeup and makeup artists. It really made me feel like getting back into my makeup courses again!  Trying to find the time to fit in all my goals and aspirations. 

There were also brands selling special effects makeup and some makeup artists were doing very beautiful body artwork on models. It looked really good! I'm not artistic enough for that, I will stick to normal makeup lol.

I also had the pleasure of meeting Zukreat. A YouTube beauty guru and she also has her own line of makeup that she was also selling and had her own booth. Her brand is named, Artist of Makeup. I ended up buying 2 of her eyeshadows :) She is beautiful!

We also went to the Sugarpill Counter and took a photo with the main sales assistant. Her makeup was amazing! I also ended up buying 2 beautifully pigmented eyeshdows from Sugarpill.

Artist of Makeup Zukreat Cosmetics in shades Starlight and Figtorious

Makeup Forever Aqua Lip pencial and Concealer Corrector

Beauty So Clean Cosmetic Sanitizer Mist and Cosmetic Sanitizer Wipes

The last two items here are souvenirs I bought from the event. This way I will remember this day forever! lol. Couldn't resist the cute keyring and I love collecting keyrings for some reason!
