Urban Decay Vice 2 Palette - Swatches and First Impressions

Hey all!
Hope you all had a good week.

I was lucky enough to receive this as one of my birthday gifts that I chose. It's the fabulous Urban Decay Vice 2 Palette!

The packaging is so beautiful - I can't get over it! Purple is my favourite colour, so it's a go figure. But, besides the colour, the packaging is still really good. I am a big fan of Urban Decay's packaging in general. The packaging of this palette is so stylish and feels really luxurious with the diamond UD engraved in the middle and the sleek feel to the strong purple colour plastic.

It's already looking good, right? Just wait until you open it!

With a simple press of the button in front of the palette, the palette opens effortlessly. The pressing of the button method to open up this palette insures maximum security. It is highly unlikely that this palette could open up without pressing the button first. Therefore, good for travelling and it's very strong and sturdy that it would probably last your entire lifetime.

You get a big sized mirror for a palette and it can stand on it's own without having to hold it open. You even get a double sided brush with the palette. I have never tried Urban Decay brushes before, they just look too nice to use that I have not even tried the brush that came with my Urban Decay Naked 2 palette yet.

Behold!

A bunch of beautiful colours! If you've read my previous posts in the past, you would notice that eye shadows are my favourite part of my make up routine. I love colours, so I'm instantly attracted to this wonderful showcase of eye shadows.

Swatches!

The colours are all so pretty. Can't wait to do a make up look with this! As you can tell, my first impressions are very, very good! I would recommend buying this. It is a bit pricey, but, as I always say, it's sometimes good to treat yourself!

This was bought at Debenhams for £42. If you want more information about this palette, then you can also check out Urban Decay's official website HERE.

If you have any questions about this palette, please let me know.

  1. So pretty! I'm just not a huge fan of Urban Decay eyeshadows though. Too much fallout for me.
