Flower Nail Art

Hey everyone!
How you all doing? Hope you all had a great Easter!

The year is already feeling like it's going so fast, we are already in April! Even though this weather is not really looking like April's weather.
Looking outside now it looks like its sleeting. I thought we were in Spring but its sooooo cold still! I am hoping this means it will be a super nice Summer ahead of us.

Anyways, this is just a short post on some flower nail art that I have attempted to do. This was my first time attempting to make flowers on my nails using some nail tools.

It was really fun to try this out! I am mostly proud of my thumb nail one :)
I used the dotting tool for the middle of the flower and one of the nail art brushes for the petals and leaves. The black stem was easy to do as the black nail polish came with stripy brush. So it was easy to apply the stroke.
This look really fits in with the Spring thing with the pastel blue base colour and, ofcourse, the flowers.

The products I used were:
  • Collection 2000 - Button Moon (blue pastel background)
  • Collection 2000 - Candy Floss (pink flower petals)
  • Barry M - Lilac Foil (thumb nail purple petals)
  • The black, green and the yellow colours were all from the Rio Professional Nail Art Kit
I would love to try out some more interesting patterns and designs. It's really fun. You really put on your concentration face when doing these kind of things!
